Powerwind Holding AG.
Powerwind Holding owns the Frehne wind park, which is located at a good wind site in Brandenburg, Germany. The wind park consists of two Enercon turbines of 2 MW and one of 2.3 MW producing approximately 13 GWh of electric power per year. The park was commissioned in March 2012 and supplies electricity equivalent to the consumption of approximately 5’100 households, thereby reducing approximately 15’220 tonnes of CO2 emissions per year. The company successfully sells the produced energy to the market („Direktvermarktung”) but also has the option to switch to the fixed feed-in tariff warranted by the Germany Renewable Energy Act (EEG).
